Online Casino Reports Gives ThanksThursday, November 25, 2010 at 8:59 AMWritten by Daniel O The holiday season officially opens with Thanksgiving celebrated in the USA, followed by Black Friday and soon then after - Christmas and New Year's. Online Casino Reports does not miss the opportunity to give thanks, and for a second serving of that cranberry sauce... This Thanksgiving, OCR looks at a year of growth and success, with new additions to our website, and new websites added to our network. (Check out extended casino reviews and localized Argentine site) We're thankful for all that. Also this Thanksgiving, OCR is thankful for the overall improvement in the entire online casino culture, where we hear of less mishaps and are able to choose to work with reputable, professional online casinos only. Thanks for that too. And lastly, we are thankful for the visitors to our site, reading our gambling news articles posted several times daily, watching our videos (we work hard on those) and all those players cashing in on our exclusive bonus offers and all we do. And happy holidays to all. Christmas and Holiday PromotionsMonday, November 22, 2010 at 10:23 AMWritten by Daniel O Prepare to enter The Official Holidays Season! We Will Remember ThemThursday, November 11, 2010 at 10:31 AMWritten by Sharona B World War 1 officially ended 'at the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month' back in 1918. Ever since then 11th November has been Remembrance Day, a day to contemplate the sacrifices made by the armed forces and acknowledge the civilian losses in the 'war to end all wars'. Also known as Armistice Day or Veterans Day, Commonwealth countries commemorate the day with parades, military ceremonies and the observation of one or two minutes' silence. In Australia and New Zealand the day has been incorporated into ANZAC Day to remember all wars. In Canada there are gun salutes and a flypast. In South Africa the South African Legion holds street collections to raise funds for welfare projects for veterans. In the UK the day is celebrated with all the pomp and circumstance that you would expect - with the armed forces, civic leaders and local organizations turning out in force, spruced up in their uniforms and marching to local war memorials to lay wreaths. Wherever you are on 11th November: wear your red poppy with pride and don't forget that it is more than a colorful accessory to your clothes; it symbolizes the blood spilt for the freedom of future generations.
