It's About the Player's Experience, StupidTuesday, October 28, 2008 at 3:47 PMWritten by Daniel O The website we operate is, first and foremost, for you, the players. Be it the news stories we seek and report, the videos we produce and upload, through to the online casino reviews we write up and post, it is all meant for you to learn from and assist you in stepping up your entertainment. With every step along the way we think - What would the player want now? We've done this at every juncture, and I wish to provide one small example that will demonstrate this claim: We constantly expand the number of brands which we cover on the online casino reviews section. They are each tried out, researched and reviewed for your educated decision on choosing an online casino to play at. The new small yet significant change we've done on the page is the order in which they are listed. The long list can be filtered alphabetically, yes, but by default it is listed in order of recommendations.
Each player can recommend a review page of an online casino
he or she wishes to suggest to fellow users. Those most recommended earn more
and more stars, which in turn determine the order of their listing on the main
online casinos directory page.
Business and Pleasure at CAP Euro BarcelonaSunday, October 19, 2008 at 4:10 PMWritten by Daniel O CAP Events are an opportunity to meet operators, affiliates, webmasters and other online gambling industry peers. In fact, in Barcelona one could meet over 1,300 of them. First we meet over breakfast, before the day begins and we all run around the exhibition floors, from stand to stand. These days are fruitful for most, and tiring too, but they are not enough to knock the wind out of the participants. Oh no. Come nighttime, a major element of CAP events comes into play. These are the parties, or in a more official definition: sponsored networking activities. The parties allow the conference attendees to recharge and refresh, while allowing some companies, usually of the host country, to advertise their brand. In Barcelona it was local bingo site Winzingo who hosted the party on Day 1, featured in this short video. Other parties were sponsored by Blackjack and Million Dollar Poker Club.
No Putting a CAP On ItWednesday, October 15, 2008 at 1:04 PMWritten by Daniel O It has been two weeks already since we've returned back from CAP Euro 2008 in Barcelona. But there is still the taste of Spanish cava and the memories from the successful event. We'd like to share some of them. Online Casino Reports have already posted the first summary video, which includes highlights from the various panels we sat on, the exhibition floors, lectures and interviews we've held with the participants. Additional, topic driven or stand-alone interviews will be posted immediately, as we are working on them this very moment. Well, perhaps not this very moment, as I've taken a break to look at some pictures from the event, of which I bring you a few.
CAP Euro Barcelona SummarySunday, October 05, 2008 at 11:44 AMWritten by Daniel O We're back from CAP Euro Barcelona. I think it can be referred to as a great success. Furthermore, I think most of the participants would agree. But most importantly, we want you to agree. The video team at Online Casino Reports is working on producing a summary video, the first of a line of videos that we will produce, air and share with you from the going-abouts in Barcelona. When 1,200 (was that the final figure? were there more?) affiliates and industry insiders, plus one team of Kate, cameraman and myself, meets over a weekend to talk online gambling - you know something will come out of it. It is a matter of weeks, maybe even less, until you will notice the new deals as they will be expressed in the form of promotions and players' jackpots across online gambling sites. We were there to talk to the people behind the casinos and promise to bring you a CAP Euro summary video, interviews with leading casino operators and affiliate managers, star poker players and more. So stay tuned and we'll update you on the new videos at OCR Live.
