Online Casino Reports introduces a new section to the site. Now, alongside the News, OCR Live!, Services, Guides and other tabs you can find on the site, we also include a Culture section.

Why culture, or what culture?

The culture of online gambling and casinos at large is extensive, so we find. In this section you will find, accordingly, reviews of casino-themed movies, gambling guides and books, philosophical meditations on various elements of gambling topics and myths, and more.

More, namely, comics.

On the Culture section we state that "There's a lot more to gambling than first meets the eye." When it comes to our humorous comics, those images that your eyes will meet are just that - a fresh new perspective that will make you laugh.

So we first wrote about the launch of a spin-off site targeted at South African players back in June. It's been a big project but we're overjoyed to announce that Online Casino Reports South Africa is now up and running. Check it out!



We're telling everyone we know about the news and have issued our official press release to inform the online gambling world that Online Casino Reports has landed in South Africa.

The new site is designed especially for South African gamblers with targeted news, reviews, game guides and the best of our OCR Live videos. Everything devoted to the Rand gambler.

As online gambling becomes officially legalized in South Africa and more and more providers enter the market, Online Casino Reports South Africa will act as an essential gateway to the exciting world of South African online gambling.

Online Gambling Talk - the New Interviews Section

Only about a week has passed since we told you here about the new Video Gems. Here we proudly present to you a new feature on OCR Live! - the Interviews section.

Online Casino Reports meets and talks with casino players and winners, gambling industry insiders, and gaming proponents as a matter of course; this is basically what we do for work. This can happen in our daily routine, as we partner with other website operators, for example (you can find our closest Media Partners listed on our homepage, on the bottom right of the screen). We also happen to simply call others in the industry, or meet them at conferences and events, as we have most recently at CAP Spring Break in Cyprus and look forward to doing again in Barcelona in September.

Such conversations may turn into items - video or audio recorded - and posted on our site to share with you what we believe is relevant to the community at large.

The new section, which already holds several items, features such interviews with online gambling industry insiders. We have posted such stories as the interview we have help with Poker Players Alliance representative in the state of Washington, Lee Rousso, before his challenge of the gambling ban in his home state, an interview with webmaster and SEO expert Bob Rains, a familiar face around the industry, which we thought you the community should get to know as well, and more still.

Lunar Gambling Revisited

Online Casino Reports has recently placed a prediction on futuristic odds betting site, Long Bets, namely that casino gambling will be available on the moon by 2040. We've reported that much right here on our blog, only about a week or so ago.

Well, we're still kind of excited over this. It is more the fun of placing such a (quirky? outrageous? ridiculous?) prediction; we do our best to keep less excited over lunar gambling at the moment, as even in our prediction that is not due to happen in 30-some years...

Then there is the charity aspect, as bets placed on the Long Bets site are directed towards the charity of the bettor's choice.

So we've decided to spread the word, and that's what's behind our press release of July 10, 2008. (Find it at PRWEB )
