New Year's Resolutions: Online Gambling

Truthfully, this post was going to be short, wishing you all Happy Holidays and a snow-free vacation, wherever you are!

But things are never as simple as they first seem, are they now...

Many around the world - everyone with a calendar, basically) take this occasion, New Year's, to reflect on the changes they want or need. Why not online gambling too?

From the players' point of view, having fun and winning too are the ultimate goals, the essence of playing. But the road to the "promised-land" is a bit more complicated.

Sure, we can blame the Bush Administration or the whole concept of protectionist legislation all day, or all year. But we can also show that we are for real. A community. A valid business.

And so, this New Year's my resolutions for online gambling are not only that you win every spin and come out with your hand on top in every poker game. My New Year's resolutions are also the following: that we do unto others as we would do unto ourselves, not steal or scam, pay out when we have to, be as respectable in losing as we are in winning. Knowing, all this time knowing, that the way we act reflects on the industry at large, and that if we want to get the respect we think we deserve, well, let's show the world that we deserve it.

Or, as Kate says it so clear in the latest Weekly Edition (now in High Definition!): Happy Holidays to all of you!
