Judgment of Solomon – Slots Version

Questions of Truth and Justice have haunted humankind throughout
history. King Solomon, in the famous Judgment of Solomon story, was approached
by two mothers, who had each argued a baby boy was theirs (1 Kings 3:16-28).
Anguish and jealousy have also played roles in this episode,
which ended when the King ordered for a sword to split the live son in two, for
each woman to receive half. (The story ends with the true mother of the boy asking
the King to spare the child's life, thus revealing her true motherly
instincts.)
Now there is another wise judge in France! A French court in
Montpellier, Reuters reports, has split a 2 million euros jackpot between the woman
who put in the money and the man who pulled the lever.
Marie-Helene Jarguel and Francis Sune were gambling partners.
Marie-Helene placed 50 euros in the slot machine, and Francis activated the
machine.
Jarguel was allowed to keep 80% of the earnings while giving
20% to Sune.
