Obama Brings Change

Having won yesterday's Presidential race, the candidate who promised change has already done so. Even though he will only take office in January, 2009, the millions of voters have already made history, as the racial barriers, for one, have fallen with their vote.

Barack Obama's campaign showcased Change and Belief ("Yes We Can") as its core principles. Obama and his supporters - as well as the United States of America as a whole - can expect such change to come in its international diplomacy and the wars it is engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan; in American politics and the Blue vs. Red divide that runs so deep in American culture and has deepened ever so much in the past 8 years; in handling the economy and managing the current housing bubble-burst; in ratifying the Kyoto Protocol, or at the very least working with the world's nations to help rpeserve this planet; and many more fronts.

...and gambling. Online gambling that is. Especially as such dramatic challenges await the US, it seems strange that the previous administration and the 110th Congress have obsessed so over online gambling. We do expect not necessarily an opening of a free online gambling market, but rather a respectable and intelligent decision, for a change.
