March Madness - that by which the NCAA men's college basketball tournament is known - is here. And here, and here and here!

College campuses are certainly berserk, but the Internet is full of excitement revolving the basketball action. Such is this hilarious Chris Farley video imitating (not really) the famous Christian Laettner game-winner in Duke's victory over Kentucky in the East regional final of the 1992:

NCAA March Madness is also the #1 most popular sports betting trend on online sportsbooks, which you can check out for yourself.

For most people, gambling is harmless. More than just being harmless, it's a pastime, entertainment, and basically just fun. However, there are people who abuse their hobbies and develop a problem. Gambling is not immune from this.

The National Problem Gambling Awareness Week, taking place this week in the USA (March 7-13), is an opportunity to discuss these addiction issues openly and tackle them head on.

True, the rapid expansion of gambling, mainly over the internet, has helped fuel the problem. However, online casinos are not the prime suspects when it comes to this, and lotteries, even state run and national lotteries, are more "usual" suspects. The web actually offers many resources for problem gamblers and their friends and relatives.

An interesting stat was reported recently by the New York Council on Problem Gambling, claiming 1 million problem gamblers in the Big Apple. Experts believe 1 in 5 or 6 people who gamble can develop an addiction. Though the definition of problem gamblers may be argued, the potential for risk is there, and warning signs should be noticed and paid attention to by all.

The casinos you play at offer help and advice for problem gambling. So does Online Casino Reports. These resources go out to all gamblers, players, lottery card scratchers - and their social circles. Knowledge is power and responsible gaming is the order of the day.

Day 4 of the European Poker Tour Saturday sure had an interesting twist. The PokerStars tournament, the prize totals of which are nearly €5 million, was robbed that afternoon by a group of 5 or 6 men who seized what is reported to be €800,000.

The tournament took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin. The security guard fended the burglars off and possibly saved the tourney from losing the remaining prize cash. This can all be seen on the following video:

No one was seriously injured. The tourney resumed shortly after the incident. An investigation is underway.

Lil' Wayne, Eminem and Drake rocked the Grammys a couple of weeks ago with a rocking hip hop performance.

Checking it out last night, I reached the video for Forever, performed by this classy group of rappers. It's clearly a cool song, so you're welcome to check it out. But I'm pasting it here for a different reason. Wait until 0:09 and see what online poker surprise awaits you.

I actually think it's Lebron James playing poker there. seriously. Check it out.

As a matter of fact it was my right hand that did the photographing at the London Affiliate Conference in late January, which explains a thing or two. On my defense it can be said that the weather was definitely c-o-l-d.

In these pictures you will find Poker Legend Doyle Brunson, Gentleman Bookmaker Victor Chandler, keynote speakers and their attentive audience, surprise flash mob dancers and their captive audience, and of course the Online Casino Reports video team.
